Too many reviews have no bearing on durability of finish or substance, being formulated from the first impression.
The material suffers a very tolerable balling, material claimed of friction off the alpaca material, but it is well under 1% and mostly irrelevant, at least this far. Color and fabric stability with folding, spreading out and unfurling are good. Warmth cannot be assessed yet as a late July receipt finds that quality not given its best challenge yet.
Certainly the nature of the material appears to be good. A follow up in late Fall or early Winter may be more reflective of the best nature of the purchase's value.

The alpaca is thick and warm as promised. The queen size ordered fits perfectly. If you like or prefer a heavy wool blanket, this is the one for you.
